The PCM Community School District serves the communities of Prairie City, Monroe, and Reasnor. Our school district serves approximately 1,100 students from preschool through grade 12.
Prairie City Elementary and PCM Middle School are located in Prairie City and rest upon approximately 19 acres of land. Monroe Elementary and PCM High School are located in Monroe on approximately 50 acres of land. We employee approximately 185 dedicated individuals and operate a general fund budget of $10.6 million.
Our district is committed to supporting students in all facets of their educational experiences. We offer strong academic, fine arts, career and technical education, co-curricular and extra-curricular programs for our students. We are proud of our high graduation rate of 99 percent.
