Garden Square Lights

The Prairie City Business Association is seeking businesses and/or individuals interested in creating and setting up lighted displays throughout Garden Square for the community to enjoy during the holiday season.  Starting with an official “Square Lighting” on the evening of December 12, 2020, the displays will be lit every night through January 1, 2021.

Any outdoor display will be permitted, which includes inflatables, lighted yard ornaments, and of course trees (trees are encouraged to be artificial).

Each display will be provided:

• 6ft by 6ft space to decorate. Areas will be spaced around the outer sidewalks of Garden Square Park.
• Power supplied to the decorating area with outdoor connection cover. If additional extension cords are needed, they will need to be supplied by the business.
• Lighted sign, acknowledging the display contributor

Displays should be set up during the week of December 6 and up by no later than the evening of December 10. Please plan to have the displays removed from Garden Square by no later than January 2, 2021.
