I have an old plat book with maps and names of people who lived in prairie city back in the early 1900s. Wondered if you would want it. Let me know and I can drop it off. I work at the middle school so am not home until 1:30 pm or so. Give me a call at 994-2862. I tried to call Karen euros but the number isn’t working. Thank you.
My husband would like to visit this museum and didn’t know if there were scheduled tours coming up on weekends that we could join?
If someone died in Prairie City in 1860 where would they have been buried. The name is Eliza Cole.
We do not show that there are any Coles buried in Prairie City cemeteries (and local pioneer cemeteries). Have you tried to check findagrave.com to see if she might have been buried in Newton or Colfax?
